Recognised as one of New Zealand’s top cabaret artists & awarded “Performer of the Year 2026” in the Twirling Tassel Awards, Michelle is the co-owner of The Velvet Haven, Aotearoa’s leading burlesque academy, where she mentors the next generation of performers.
Of Samoan and Swiss heritage and born and raised in Aotearoa, she brings a soulful, sensual presence, and technical precision to every performance.
Michelle is the co-creator & headliner of The Velvet Lounge: a live-jazz burlesque spectacular. She’s graced stages alongside international icons like Snoop Dogg and has worked for leading producers in the burlesque industry including Chris Oh! and Evana De Lune. Her performance career began in circus and pole dance, where she became a two-time national pole champion, before transitioning into burlesque - a realm where her expressive storytelling shines.
Michelle brings more than just talent - she’s known for her professionalism, grounded energy, and a heartfelt presence that lights up the room.
